Canulated Drill comprising of integrated Motor, Gearbox, &
Chuck in a convenient, ergonomically designed housing. Specially
Designed High Torque DC Motor and Special Gearing provide exceptional
power smoothly as required for drilling hard substances like
bones. Surgeon has full control over speed using progressive
trigger mechanism. The speed
control is achieved using trigger switch conveniently located
under Index finger position of the drill grip. Full linear speed
control over entire speed range of 0 to 1500 RPM is available.
It offers a great improvement over other existing makes having
foot switch operation.
|
| In many instances the angle of approach in routine
surgery is inconvenient at its best and carrying around the drill
while operating by foot switch simultaneously, invariably causes
stress on back for operating surgeons. Also at several times, two
persons are needed to manage the drill, as the flexible shaft is
not long enough. Conventional flexible shaft driven hand pieces
are very unwieldy to handle and restricts surgeon's movements greatly.
The drill is very compact and weighs less than 850 gms including
wire and connector. Tool Grip is optimized to suit even the smallest
of the hands. This "All In One" tool can do every drilling
and reaming job in orthopaedics, i.e. K-Wire, Beaded Olive Wire,
Flexible Shaft Reaming & Acetabular Reaming. |
